My Specialties and Services
-
I provide athletes a safe space to work through problems such as eating concerns, over exercise, body image, confidence, anxiety, depression, sports injury, sports retirement, relationships, and traumatic events. Athletes devote tremendous time and energy to their training and deserve a space to cope with any mental health challenges.
-
Presentation with your team or organization on a topic that you feel would be beneficial to your athletes Some topics include performing anxiety, goal setting, improving confidence, productive self-talk, and team dynamics.
-
Those who are affected by an eating disorder usually have an obsession around food, body shape, or weight. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches to provide individuals with a wide range of skills and healthy coping behaviors to guide them to a life of fulfilling recovery
-
Body image refers to the perception and attitudes an individual holds toward their own physical appearance. It encompasses thoughts, feelings, and beliefs related to one's body size, shape, and overall appearance.
-
Anxiety is defined as a complex emotional state characterized by excessive worry, fear, and apprehension, impacting one's daily life. I work with individuals to find the root of their anxiety, aiming to alleviate symptoms and develop practical strategies for managing it.
-
Depression is a common but serious mental health disorder that negatively impacts thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Depression can leave you feeling down, anxious, worthless or hopeless. While you may feel isolated and alone, depression is more common than you may realize — and help is available.
-
Trauma is any experience that overwhelms your ability to cope. Though there are many different types of traumatic events, I can help you learn new skills to cope with the symptoms of trauma. I work with you to reestablish a sense of safety and control in your life.
